After working with partners in The Pinnacle Learning Trust for many years, the school joined the Trust from 1st April 2023, a move which was very positively received by staff and the school’s local community. Last inspected in November 2018, and judged as Good, the school is oversubscribed and very well respected. We are proud of the Broadfield Values; celebrating diversity and inclusion in addition to having high expectations and excellent pastoral provision.

Broadfield Primary School is welcoming and friendly and our central focus is a commitment to ensuring that all our pupils achieve their full potential and become lifelong learners. Our children are happy, enthusiastic and want to learn. We celebrate diversity and teach children to recognise and respect people’s differences as well as similarities. We have a strong training and CPD programme, opportunities to develop your skills and a solid, supportive team of staff and Governors who have fostered a caring and welcoming atmosphere at the school.

Our colleagues underpin our mission and values, sharing high expectations and collaborative opportunities through supportive networks. We genuinely care about each other and the real difference we can make to pupils’ futures, and we want to recruit hard-working, conscientious and self-motivated staff who share our vision. We were delighted to receive the Edurio Staff Choice Award in 2024, based on responses to our staff survey where 98% of our colleagues recommended the college as a good place to work.
