Catering Assistant
Term Time only
10 hrs per week Monday- Friday
12.30pm-2.30pm

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a hardworking, enthusiastic individual to join our catering team.
We are looking for someone who can, under the direction/instruction of the Kitchen Manager, support the kitchen team in providing a high quality food service which meets specified food hygiene standards.
You will:
Serve using the cashless till system, ensuring the area is kept clean at all times.
Communicate effectively with staff and pupils at the school to ensure a quality service is maintained.
Support the cleanliness and hygiene standards within the food hall and seating area.
Adhere to the requirements of Level 2 award in Food safety and Hygiene at all times (training will be provided).
Maintain high standards of food hygiene in the kitchen in accordance with domestic and catering standards.
Be involved in food preparation on a relief basis.
You will be/ have:
A Level 2 Food Safety Award of the willingness to work towards this.
The ability to work under pressure.
An excellent role model for young people and our staff.
