What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who has:
- High standards of personal hygiene.
- The ability to complete tasks speedily and accurately.
- The ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, pupils, staff and visitors.
- The ability to work either alone or as part of a team.
Your duties will include:
- Supporting the Catering Manager with the preparation and simple cooking of food & beverages.
- Serving pupils at the counter/hatch or from a trolley or kiosk as required.
- To undertake all aspects of cleaning equipment (light and heavy), walls (up to 6ft.) floors, fixtures and fittings, cooking utensils, cutlery, glassware etc. as directed.
The Catering Assistant role is to support the Catering Manager to provide healthy and balanced meals for our pupils. We need someone who is flexible, patient,a team player and can work at a fast pace.
