Gateway Central Services is seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our passionate and enthusiastic catering team at Foundry Lane Primary School in producing high quality and healthy meals for lunch and the occasional function.
This role offers 16.25 hours per week, 10.30am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday, 39 weeks per year (term time plus inset days).
The successful candidate will:
- Be passionate about creating and serving delicious and nutritious meals to students, staff, and visitors;
- Encourage and promote healthy eating habits and lifestyles;
- Prepare various ingredients such as meats and vegetables;
- Maintain a safe and hygienic kitchen environment;
- Clean up and sanitize the kitchen area after cooking each meal and at the end of the shift;
- Work collaboratively with all members of the Gateway Central Services;
- Be enthusiastic about their own professional development and growth.
