  • Catering, cleaning and site management
• Visa sponsorship: Visas cannot be sponsored
• Working pattern: Part time: 11am – 2pm: 9 hours per week on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 38 weeks of the year (term time, no INSET days)
• Contract type: Permanent
• Full-time equivalent salary: Scale 2 (3-4) (£22 737- £23 114 pro rata)

What skills and experience we're looking for

An exciting opportunity has become available for a Catering Assistant to join the Great Totham Team. Our kitchen is a friendly, supportive and very busy place. Each day we regularly cook and serve over 300 meals.

We are ideally looking for someone with experience of kitchens and preparing food.

The role involves:-

• Assisting with food preparation
• Helping to serve
• Hand washing of large kitchen pots and pans
• Stacking and emptying industral sized dishwashers
• Daily cleaning to maintain 5 star hygiene rating standards

The successful candidate will be able to work as part of a team, use their own initiative and be committed to maintaining our excellent standards.

What the school offers its staff

Following shortlisting, cadidates will be invited for a taster session within the kitchen before being called to interview. This is to ensure all cadidates have a clear understanding of the role and have had the opportunity to meet the team.

All food hygiene training will be provided.
