Highgate Primary Academy is seeking to recruit a dedicated Catering Assistant to join our friendly team. This is a permanent, term‑time‑only role working 20 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of healthy, nutritious meals for pupils.
- Serve food in a friendly and efficient manner.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness across the kitchen and dining areas.
- Support with washing up, cleaning equipment, and general kitchen duties.
- Follow all food hygiene, health, and safety procedures.
- Help create a positive, calm, and welcoming atmosphere during lunchtimes.
- Work collaboratively with the catering team to ensure smooth service.
What We’re Looking For
- A friendly, approachable, and reliable individual.
- Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and supports others.
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High standards of cleanliness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Willingness to follow food hygiene and safety guidelines.
- Previous catering or kitchen experience is desirable.
