What skills and experience we're looking for

The Opportunity

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will play an important role in supporting the daily operation of the academy's catering service, helping to provide healthy, nutritious meals for pupils and staff. Working as part of a friendly team, you will assist with food preparation, serving meals, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene, and ensuring a welcoming dining environment where every pupil can enjoy a positive mealtime experience. Your contribution will directly support our commitment to the wellbeing and success of all students.

About You

  • Food hygiene certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Prior experience in the catering industry.
  • Understanding of hygiene regulations and requirements.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and supporting the wellbeing of pupils.
