Additional role info: Working Pattern = Monday to Thursday, 4 hours per day (occasionally the successful candidate may be asked to work extra hours to help cover staff absences)

We’re looking for a dedicated Catering Assistant to support our school’s kitchen team in delivering nutritious, high-quality meals to our students and staff. About you:
We are looking for a calm and enthusiastic individual to join our catering team to assist with general preparation, presentation and service of food for Kingsmead School and local primary schools. Relevant experience (and a clean driving licence) is desirable, but not essential as training can be provided.
You will have:
- Have an understanding of the working conditions within a busy kitchen environment
- A keen interest in working within an education-based environment and commitment to inclusion and acceptance of all
- Ability to work as part of a team, form effective relationships with colleagues to ensure an effective catering service
- Excellent time management skills
- Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate well with children and adults.
- Ability to keep clear and accurate records
- Ability to maintain confidentiality over matters relating to the school, students, staff, or parents.
