Catering Assistant job summary

The position is to cover a maternity leave within the catering team on a Fixed Term contract.

Hours: 10.00am to 2.00pm - Monday to Friday

Fixed Term until 31st January 2027

What are we looking for?

Join Ludlow Church of England School as a Catering Assistant and become part of our friendly and dedicated catering team.

The successful candidate will support the preparation and serving of meals, helping to ensure a safe, clean and welcoming dining environment for our students and staff. Duties will include food preparation, serving food, cleaning kitchen and dining areas, and complying with food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team. Previous experience in a food service environment would be advantageous but is not essential, as training will be provided.
