What skills and experience we're looking for

  • Level 2 or equivalent certificate in Food Hygiene, or demonstrable experience of working at that level;
  • Experience / knowledge of working with food and / or in a kitchen environment;
  • Training / qualifications in Health & Safety;
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of audiences;
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
  • Ability to work well under pressure;
  • Ability to deliver a high standard of customer service;
  • Ability to relate to students in a pleasant and sympathetic manner and to recognise potential safeguarding issues;
  • Understanding of Academy Child Safeguarding Procedures.
