Catering Assitant job summary
Crowdys Hill School is a dynamic and forward thinking special educational needs school for pupils with moderate learning difficulties and complex needs. We cater for over 320 pupils from across the Borough of Swindon and beyond, from the age of 4 up to 19.
We are seeking to employ an enthusiastic part-time Catering Assistant to work lunchtime from 11.30am - 2.15pm everyday, term-time only.
The Role
You could be asked to do a range of tasks, including:-
- keeping the kitchen and dining area clean,;
- making sure the equipment and utensils are where they should be;
- keeping the storeroom, fridge, freezer well organised;
- keeping equipment, fridges, ovens/warmers, work surfaces and floors clean and hygienic;
- washing up and loading/unloading the dishwasher;
- serving food to pupils and staff.
But you need to be happy to turn your hand to whatever is asked of you and be able to work quickly and efficiently. You will also need to be flexible and work as part of a team.
