Catering Manager job summary
At Ormiston Maritime Academy (OMA), we are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and committed Catering Manager to provide catering support for 37 hours per week during term time including 5 training days (39 weeks per year), being responsible for the day to day provision of catering services while ensuring a high level of hygiene and safety is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities will include:
- Plan, operate and control the production and service of food related duties, setting out programmes of work and supervising other catering staff
- Use of specialised preparation and cooking equipment
- Undertake cleaning and washing up as necessary in the kitchen, serving and dining areas
- Ensure compliance with laid down rules and procedures including health and safety, COSSH and food hygiene
- Manage supplies to meet service schedules and hospitality bookings as required
