Catering Manager job summary

Join Pix Brook Academy as our new Catering Manager and take a lead role in fueling the next generation. We are looking for a dynamic, hands-on professional to oversee all kitchen operations, from designing innovative, nutritious menus that meet UK School Food Standards to managing the department’s budget and suppliers. You will lead and develop a dedicated team, ensuring the seamless delivery of breakfast, break, and lunch services while maintaining the highest standards of food safety and hygiene in our busy secondary school environment.

The successful candidate will possess strong financial acumen, excellent leadership skills, and the creative flair needed to engage teenagers with an appealing food offer. You must hold a Level 3 or 4 Food Hygiene Certificate and have proven experience in high-volume catering, including managing allergens and using cashless systems.
