Are you an inspirational, forward-thinking leader looking for a career-defining opportunity?
In May 2026, Chiltern Learning Trust (CLT) and Inspiring Futures through Learning (IFtL) submitted a formal application to the Department for Education to merge. We are now seeking a highly skilled and motivated Chief Operating Officer to bring together best practices, establish excellent systems, and provide outstanding strategic leadership for our combined operations across 42 schools.
This role has been strategically designed to provide operational leadership across both organisations regardless of the outcome of the DfE's decision. In the unlikely event that the merger does not proceed, the successful applicant will continue to lead and support collaborative working across both highly regarded trusts.
As a crucial member of a fast-paced, dynamic senior leadership team, you will closely support the CEO and work with the executive boards to deliver shared strategic priorities. You will provide strategic oversight across:
- Estates
- Health & Safety
- Risk Management
- IT and Data
- Growth and Admissions
The closing date for applications is Wednesday 8th July 2026 at 9.00am. Interviews will be held week commencing 13th July 2026.
