What skills and experience we're looking for
Netley Primary School and Woodlands Centre for Autism, is looking for a Child Support Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for someone who is passionate to pursue a career within primary education, is creative and hard working with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. If you have an interest in working with children with Autism, then Netley will be able to offer you a unique experience.
The role is based in our Centre for Autism working with Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 aged children to support language and communication, emotional regulation and independence at the level the child is working at.
You will join an experienced team and develop a range of skills to support children to develop their potential. We have an excellent professional development and training package.

Netley Primary School is an inclusive school, exuding a warmth and generosity of spirit that comes from our happy children and diverse school community. The school is set within Netley Campus, a state-of-the-art learning environment for children and adults. We have 400 children, including Woodlands, an excellent centre for children with Autism, and Acorns- our 2 year old provision. Woodlands has 30 children in total. There are 4 classes of 6-8 students. Each class has a specialist teacher and 3-4 CSAs. In 2024 OFSTED judged both Netley and Woodlands as ‘Outstanding’ in 4 of the 5 categories. We can offer excellent training and support for you to develop a career working with children especially those with additional needs.

Netley Primary School is a aspirational two form entry primary school in Camden with an autism resource base for 30 pupils and a centre for two year olds. Situated on Netley Campus we are located alongside an Adult Learning Centre, Camden’s Primary Pupil Referral Unit and an NHS Language & Communications Team.
We are a Gold UNICEF Rights Respecting school and this ethos permeates through all aspects of school life.
