Claims Paid SEN Teaching Assistant job summary

We know that there are points in people’s lives where they may not be able to commit to a full‑time position but are keen to gain experience while doing something rewarding. This role could suit someone returning from university and enjoying a long summer break, or an individual studying part‑time who has spare hours during the week. Being part of a school community can be a fantastic stepping stone, especially if you’re looking to gain hands‑on experience before training to teach, or if you’re considering pathways such as becoming an Educational Psychologist or Speech Therapist.

As our school continues to flourish and grow, we’re seeking enthusiastic and dedicated TAs—without the need to commit to full‑time working—to join our team. Having recently undergone an exciting transformation, we’re proud of our achievements and believe West Hill is a truly special place to learn and work.

Here’s what makes this role exceptional:

  • Amazing children who are eager to learn and grow.
  • A friendly and supportive community of staff, parents, and governors.
  • A strong focus on staff well-being and personal development.
  • Opportunities to work alongside a range of professionals, gaining invaluable experience and skills to enhance your career.

Early applications are encouraged. We reserve the right to interview and appoint prior to the closing date of this advertisement.
