Job summary

Bilton Infant School are seeking to appoint a confident class teacher to start after Easter (April 2020), covering maternity leave, likely to be until March 2021. The candidate should be keen to make a positive difference to the children in Year 2 (in the first instance), working as part of an experienced team.

You will work in with a parallel class teacher who can offer high quality professional development, including in KS1 moderation. You will be responsible for ensuring strong rates of progress in your class of well-behaved pupils.

Essential skills and experience

Prior experience of teaching successfully for at least 2 years

Experience of teaching in KS1 (Year 2)

Up to date awareness of Child Protection Policy and practice.

Effectively co-ordinating a curriculum area across the school
