Class Cover Teacher/ Flexible Cover Teacher job summary

Our cover Teachers provide high-quality teaching and learning across the school, undertake class teaching and cover as required — short term and longer term — across different year groups according to need.

What to expect:

You will join Moulton’s wider teaching team, get to know our children and become a valued colleague across the school. Step into classes whenever cover is required. Build consistent relationships and routines. Support continuity when a teacher is unavailable. Work closely with year group and phase teams.

Key responsibilities:.

Teach, assess, mark and adapt learning

Maintain behaviour, wellbeing and safeguarding

Collaborate across year groups and phases

Communicate effectively when taking over and handing back classes

Contribute to events, enrichment and the school ethos

Attend meetings, develop practice and uphold professional standards

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
