Actual salary

Full time roles: £18,431.05 - £19,438.71. Part time roles: £14,744.84 - £15,550.96

What skills and experience we're looking for

The Head Teacher wishes to appoint individuals:
  • Who are committed to supporting high quality learning and experiences for all children;
  • With an excellent understanding of Primary provision and who is able to work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to support the learning of an individual child, adapting learning tasks as required;
  • Ideally, with experience of working with children with either ASC, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or ADHD and associated needs;
  • With experience of running small group interventions;
  • Who are thoughtful and creative, with the ability to motivate children to give their very best;
  • Who are patient, positive and resilient;
  • Who are Team Teach / Positive Handling trained, or willing to undergo this training.

The successful candidates will ideally have experience of working with children with either ASC, Social, Emotional and Mental Health Needs or ADHD and associated needs. In particular this role would suit individuals with experience of working with children with medical needs.

In addition, we are looking for candidates who are able to work closely with the Class Teacher and SENCo to support the learning of individual children, adapting learning tasks as required, with experience of running small group interventions, as well as supporting children within a classroom setting.
