What skills and experience we're looking for

North Bradley CE Primary School is seeking to appoint a dynamic and energetic Class Teacher to support their team. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.

This is a part-time (0.2 FTE) Lower Key Stage 2 Class Teacher role, you will be focused on delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that follow the school’s curriculum and meet the needs of all pupils. The successful candidate will plan lessons, prepare resources, and assess pupil progress, using this to adapt teaching and support every child to achieve their potential. They will create a positive, inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour, wellbeing and achievement. Working closely with colleagues—including the parallel class teacher—the postholder will contribute to shared planning, consistency, and strong outcomes across the year group, while also supporting the wider life and ethos of the school. The role involves working collaboratively with staff, effectively managing teaching assistants, and building strong relationships with parents and carers to support pupils’ academic and personal development. A strong commitment to safeguarding, equality and maintaining a safe learning environment is essential. The postholder will also contribute positively to whole-school development, engage in ongoing professional development, and demonstrate high standards of professionalism at all times.
