We are excited to extend an invitation for a dedicated and experienced Class Teacher to join Nightingale Primary, a distinguished member of the Maritime Academy Trust, on a full-time basis.

We are seeking an educator who possesses a deep understanding of pedagogy and curriculum, with a proven ability to inspire and engage students across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

As a Class Teacher at Nightingale Primary, within the esteemed Maritime Academy Trust, you will have the privilege to:

  • Inspire and empower students spanning Key Stages 1 and 2, cultivating a profound appreciation for learning through innovative pedagogy and inclusive instructional methods.
  • Execute the national curriculum with precision, crafting bespoke lessons tailored to the diverse learning needs and aptitudes of our pupils.
  • Engage in collaborative endeavours with fellow educators within the Maritime Academy Trust, refining teaching methodologies and sharing insights to elevate the scholastic experience.
  • Actively contribute to the broader school community by participating in extracurricular activities, ceremonial events, and parent engagement initiatives.

Essential Criteria:

  • Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a substantive teaching tenure spanning both KS1 and KS2.
  • A comprehensive grasp of the national curriculum, underpinned by adeptness in formative assessment techniques and pedagogical progression.
  • Exemplary communication acumen and interpersonal finesse, underscored by a genuine zeal for fostering constructive relationships with students, colleagues, and parental stakeholders.
