Class Teacher job summary
We are looking for someone to teach our Year 5 Class for one term initially on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity.
About you
The successful candidate will deliver a broad curriculum, mixing academic achievement and progress with the life skills and compassion that pupils need to thrive in the modern world. We are looking for someone with KS2 experience as this will be a fixed term role until August 2021 teaching Year 5.
We’re looking for a KS2 Teacher who:
can engage and enthuse pupils and staff through a commitment to quality learning
is enthusiastic and motivated about helping children achieve their potential
can contribute to the further development of a strong and forward looking team
can be innovative in their techniques to motivate young learners
is able to make positive relationships with staff, pupils and parents alike

About Us
This academy, part of the Greenwood Academies Trust (GAT), opened in 2013 as a new two form entry primary academy serving Oakley Vale in Corby and has grown year on year. In September 2017 we opened a 40 place nursery unit and have now reached the important milestone of having pupils in all year groups from Nursery to Year 6. We are a two form entry school with 60 children in each year group.
