What skills and experience we're looking for

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Class Teacher to join our friendly and highly committed staff team to cover a period of Maternity Leave. Having recently had an Ofsted inspection, we are a thriving school which is determined to support our children and community to flourish. We are keen to hear from applicants at any stage of their career and are interested in a range of subject specialisms although experience in leading, passion for or expertise in core subjects, humanities, MFL or Music would be an advantage.

Our school serves a diverse catchment including pupils with a high percentage EAL and pupils from under resourced backgrounds. Our pupils show positive attitudes to leaning and are very well behaved, demonstrating our school values. At St Peter’s Primary there is a real sense of community between the school, the surrounding area and St Peter's Church.
