What skills and experience we're looking for
The Southfield Trust is looking to appoint an excellent, self-motivated and inspirational class teachers who are committed to a pupil-centred approach to learning and who are dedicated to creating exciting, purposeful and challenging learning opportunities.
The Southfield Trust is made up of The Lindfield School, Hazel Court, The South Downs and our new free school, Summerdown School. All located in Eastbourne

What the school offers its staff
Applications are encouraged from applicants with experience of supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs or who may have some experience but more than anything a willingness to learn through collaborative working with other skilled staff. The Contract
- This is a fixed term position from May 2025 for one year
- The paid hours of work are 32.5 (full-time hours).
- The salary range is from £31,650 to £43,607 (Main Pay Scale) plus an SEN Allowance of £2,679 per annum.

The Southfield Multi Academy Trust consists of four exceptional special schools which provide the best possible educational opportunities for all its learners and their families.
The South Downs and The Lindfield schools joined the Trust at its establishment in April of 2016 having worked closely together for a number of years. Hazel Court School was warmly welcomed into the Trust in September of 2018.
The Trust opened a new Free School: Summerdown School, in Eastbourne, in September 2022. The Trust now works across four schools and six sites in Eastbourne.
