Class Teacher job summary

Langley Mill Academy is seeking a creative and enthusiastic class teacher to join our team. We are looking for a teacher who is dedicated to delivering the very best learning experiences in a supportive environment. We are a friendly and caring school with the local community at its heart. Relationships between staff and pupils are strong.

Our recent Ofsted inspection recognised that our pupils benefit from immersive and enriching experiences integrated into the curriculum, such as opportunities for pupil leadership, visits from inspirational figures, and trips that expand their understanding beyond the classroom. The inspection also found that our pupils have a deep understanding of diversity and equality, celebrating differences. One pupil even eloquently shared, “I want to be kind, brave, and a voice for change".

Opportunities for pupils’ personal development at Langley Mill Academy are exceptional and we strive to improve this offer: every decision is made with the needs of pupils in mind.

At Djanogly Learning Trust we have a strong ethos of continuing professional development across every team. Leaders know that children succeed because of the commitment, knowledge and professionalism of our team who provide high quality learning experiences.
