Class Teacher job summary
St Martin de Porres Catholic Primary School, a very successful school part of the St Thomas Catholic Academies Trust, is seeking to appoint a dynamic and passionate teacher to join our teaching team from September 2024.
The ideal applicant will be passionate about learning as well as enthusiastic, inspirational and committed to raising standards within our school. You will be part of a skilled teaching team who build on their experience by showing willingness to teach across all primary key phases.
This post is fixed term until the end of August 2025 with a possibility of a permanent position moving forward.
You will be someone who wants to be part of a lively, skilled and professional team; are passionate about learning and wish to make a difference to our pupils; be able to motivate and inspire the children, offering both challenge and enjoyment.
We can offer a strong Catholic ethos, positive, happy children who enjoy learning; friendly, motivated and enthusiastic staff and excellent opportunities for professional development.
An enhanced DBS disclosure will be required and all schools are committed to the safeguarding and well-being of our pupils.
