Status: The class teacher role is permanent. The Lead Practitioner role is fixed term for 2 years in the first instance (Until August 2024).

“Mighty Oaks from Little Acorns Grow”

We’re looking for an experienced teacher to join our highly ambitious team who truly are dedicated in making a real difference to the lives of children at this wonderful school. This post will also involve leading on Maths or Science in the school and also having a wider Trust role for 1 day a week, supporting and coaching colleagues in our other academies, carrying out research, and providing training and professional learning through the Professional Learning Institute.

The Oaklands Primary School is a 2-form entry Primary school in Acock’s Green Birmingham. Our Ofsted report (November 2018) has identified many positives within our school. “Leaders and the Trust are highly ambitious for the school.” Staff “feel valued and part of a strong team.” There is a “rich and engaging curriculum” in place that “stimulates pupils’ interests and their desire to learn.” Ofsted 2019
