Class Teacher and Pathway Lead (Middle Leader) job summary
Avalon School is a Specialist School for students aged 11-19 situated in the town of Street. Our school vision is ‘Learning for Life’ - together with our parents and the learners themselves - we aim to teach skills for the whole of life. Avalon School is part of the Bower Learning Partnership where growth and development of staff is a high priority. We are a small, but ambitious Federation who also work in collaboration with the Pupil Referral Units within Somerset.
Avalon School is looking for a Middle Leader to join the small ambitious team. The successful candidate will lead a learning pathway within the school, ensure that all teachers share the same ambition for all our learners, to ensure the curriculum is meaningful, aspirational and relevant for our learners and ensure it is focused on their next steps. As a school we are focused on the Preparation for Adulthood. We would highly recommend visiting the school to feel the family and community feel when you walk through the doors.

You will be expected to provide:
