Brackenwood Junior School is part of Oak Trees Multi Academy Trust, which comprises 13 schools across the Wirral Peninsula. We are a happy and successful two-form entry junior school with enthusiastic, motivated and friendly staff and pupils.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed and passionate Teacher to join our dedicated team from November 2026.

We are looking for an inspirational practitioner who is passionate about delivering high-quality teaching and learning, has high expectations for all pupils and is committed to ensuring every child achieves their full potential. The successful candidate will be keen to contribute to the continued development of our school and work collaboratively as part of our supportive and dedicated team.

The successful candidate will:

  • Deliver engaging, creative and high-quality teaching across Key Stage 2 (Years 3-6).
  • Plan, prepare and assess learning to ensure all pupils make good progress.
  • Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where children feel safe, valued and motivated to learn.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of how to meet the needs of all learners, including pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN).
  • Use assessment effectively to identify next steps and adapt teaching to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including supporting pupils at external competitions, which may occasionally take place after school.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm, flexibility and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be desirable.
