What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful candidate will have:
- the ability to inspire, motivate and engage pupils encouraging them to learn
- the ability to work as part of a team
- the ability to relate to children and other adults
- excellent literacy and numeracy skills
- the ability to identify potential barriers to learning and jointly engage in strategies to overcome these barriers
- an understanding of teaching and learning in KS2, although this is not essential

Bramhope Primary is an exceptional, oversubscribed two form entry school with a reputation for providing an all-round education. We have over 430 pupils on roll, an excellent staff team and a large site with a garden, pond and a large field. Whilst there are waiting list for most year groups, school places do come available from time to time. Our school community has a strong ethos and shared vision which lays the foundations for excellence in teaching and learning. We have wonderful children who are eager to learn. Our parents are very involved in school life and work with us to provide children with the best possible start to life. Bramhope has a history of working in partnership with local schools and is part of a 'Family of Schools' network which meets and works together throughout the year. In 2019, Prince Henry’s Grammar School and Bramhope Primary School formed a multi-academy trust, The Collaborative Learning Trust. Since then, we have been joined by seven further primary schools across Leeds and Bradford.
