Class Teacher job summary

Local Academy Councillors seek to appoint a dedicated teacher to join our outstanding school. The preferable start date is 28th April. However, a later start date will be considered for suitable candidates (1st September 2025).

Candidates must be:


- Dedicated to working in close partnership with children, staff and parents within our caring church school and local community.

- Willing and able to support the Christian ethos of the school.

- A creative and enthusiastic teacher.

- Flexible and willing to show initiative.

- Organised and prepared to work hard to find the answers to challenges.

- An effective Early Years teacher with high expectations of achievement and behaviour.

- Highly motivated and be able to demonstrate recent successful planning and delivery of teaching, learning and assessment in the primary phase.

- Be willing and able to lead a foundation subject.
