Kingfisher is a fantastic academy that places great importance on the success of its pupils. Children are assessed regularly and effective support ensures children make progress. An innovative curriculum has been designed to ensure that children take part in exciting lessons and that they play an active part in their own learning. A number of extra curricular clubs ensure that children have access to a range of enriching activities.

As an academy we love working with parents and have an increasing army of volunteer helpers who support us during the school day. We value the opinions of children in school and they have their own council. The council has regular meetings and discuss a wide range of issues.

Kingfisher is a two form entry academy (420 places) with a 52 place nursery.

The only true way to find out about this academy is to walk through the door and experience the positive atmosphere. We look forward to welcoming you into our academy community!

We hope that you enjoy your visit to our website, and that you find any information you are looking for. Please feel free to contact the academy direct and speak to Mrs Flint with any queries you may have and she will be able to direct you to the most suitable person to deal with your question
