About the Role

As a Class Teacher at Clipstone Brook Lower School, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality, engaging lessons that motivate pupils and foster a love of learning
  • Plan thoughtfully to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with SEND, ensuring every child makes good progress
  • Act as a subject specialist and contribute to curriculum development, assessment, and teaching strategies
  • Support and mentor colleagues and trainees, sharing your expertise and enthusiasm
  • Play a full part in school life, working collaboratively with staff, pupils, and parents to uphold our values and ethos
  • Commit to your own continuous professional development, staying up-to-date with educational best practice and contributing to whole-school improvement

About You

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Is a qualified teacher with successful experience from Reception to Year 4.
  • Has a flair and passion for the art of teaching.
  • Has a genuine commitment to inclusive education and the ability to adapt teaching to support all pupils’ progress.
  • Builds positive, respectful relationships with pupils, colleagues, and families.
  • Demonstrates high expectations for pupil achievement and behaviour, fostering a positive and calm learning environment.
  • Embraces restorative and relational approaches to behaviour and wellbeing.
  • Has strong subject knowledge and confidence in using ICT to enhance learning.
  • Is enthusiastic about professional growth, collaboration, and contributing to wider school life.
  • Understand the role of a subject leader and demonstrate your impact in whichever subject you have led.
