SEND Learning Support Assistant job summary
Learning Support Assistant
8:30am - 3:30pm (32.5 hours a week, term time only)
We are currently looking to appoint an exceptional teaching assistant, who is experienced and has knowledge of providing support for pupils with additional learning and/or behavioural needs.
We provide a happy, safe, positive environment, which nurtures confidence, reslience, independence and personal success for all pupils. We are focused on the development of the whole child and our pupils’ progress and well-being is our core purpose at all times.
The successful candidate will:
ideally have experience of working in a primary school as a Learning Support Assistant/Teaching Assistant
be passionate about making a real difference to the lives of the children
build positive relationships with the children and their families
be keen to work alongside the class teacher and SENDCo to provide an individualised curriculum and learning environment
be organised and proactive
