The Grange are looking for a Key Stage 2 Teacher to develop, plan and deliver effective and high quality learning experiences for all students, ensuring progression is central to all lesson plans and giving out students the confidence to think big for themselves as they progress through our academy.
Key responsibilities:
- Have high expectations of learners to ensure they achieve their full educational potential.
- Set challenging teaching and learning objectives which are relevant to all students in the class.
- Have knowledge of a range of approaches to assessment, including questioning, oral assessment and self-assessment and the importance of formative assessment.
- Apply a range of teaching strategies to deliver learning objectives and incorporate inclusive strategies that meet the needs of all learners.
- Create an inviting and stimulating environment both within the classroom and outdoors including the celebration of pupils' achievements.
Pay range: M1 - M6 32,916.00 - 45352.00 - 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year.
Qualifications and Skills:
- QTS or recognised equivalent
- Degree in subject specialism
- Effective classroom management
- Ability to support staff and students in maintaining high standards
- Effective use of assessment data to inform appropriate teaching and learning and raise standards
