We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Teacher to lead our Nursery, to join our passionate team and make a positive impact on the next generation.

The Role:
As the Nursery Teacher at Haynes Lower School, you will be responsible for delivering a high-quality Early Years Education to a group of delightful children aged 2-4 years. You will plan, deliver, and assess exciting learning activities, helping our little learners develop foundational skills in a fun and stimulating environment. You will work closely with other staff to support the personal, social, and emotional development of each child, creating a warm and caring atmosphere where every child can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching to a group of nursery-aged children.
  • Plan and implement engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment where children feel valued, safe, and confident.
  • Observe, assess, and track children's progress, sharing feedback with parents and carers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and parents to support children's learning and development.
  • Promote good behaviour and positive social interactions in the Nursery environments.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's development and provide regular reports.
  • Ensure the nursery environment is clean, safe, and well-organized.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for a warm, caring, and dedicated professional with a passion for working with young children. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualities:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant, equivalent Early Years qualification.
  • Experience teaching or working with children in a Nursery or Early Years setting.
  • A strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • A nurturing and patient nature, with a genuine passion for helping young children learn and grow.
  • Creativity and initiative to develop exciting and engaging learning experiences for children.
  • An understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
