What the school offers its staff
As a Key Stage 2 teacher, you will have the opportunity to work with enthusiastic and well-behaved children in our nurturing community. We have a holistic approach that values the individual child. Our older children are fantastic role models to our younger children. Our OFSTED report (Feb 2024) describes our children “Pupils are proud to attend. They demonstrate positive attitudes towards their learning. Pupils actively engage in lessons and present their work to a high quality. They embody the school’s values, displaying kindness and care towards their peers.”
Our teachers benefit from PPA time taken in phase teams, ensuring a manageable workload and a collaborative approach to planning and assessment. We run our own 30 hour nursery and prioritise the admission of nursery places for children of staff. We have a great mix of highly experienced teachers and those in their early stages of teaching. We offer a supportive environment with a focus on meaningful professional development supporting all staff to develop and grow in their careers.
Our grounds are extensive and a fantastic resource to enhance learning. Our youngest children access Forest School. We have a bespoke STEM classroom,a beautiful library and a music room. The school community is very caring and our mission statement of ‘nurturing and developing our children for the future’ underpins all our work.
