Skills, Knowledge and Experience
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Secure understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly in Key Stage 2
- The ability to plan and deliver well-structured lessons that support progression and maintain high levels of engagement
- Developing confidence in assessment for learning, using this to inform next steps and adapt teaching
- An understanding of how to adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners.
- The ability to contribute to a language-rich classroom environment, supporting early communication, vocabulary and oracy.
- Skills in creating a positive, well-managed and nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence and resilience
- A commitment to delivering a broad, balanced and creative curriculum
