Elm Road Primary School is looking to appoint a passionate and dedicated teacher to join our team from January 2026.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic ECT starting their teaching journey or for an experienced teacher who shares our commitment to giving children the very best start to their education.

The skills and experience we are looking for:

• An ability to build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• High expectations of both themselves and the children they teach

• A secure understanding of the national curriculum.

• Strong knowledge of early reading, particularly the teaching of phonics

• A positive, proactive approach and a willingness to play an active role in school life

• A reflective practitioner who values continuous professional growth
