What skills and experience we're looking for
EQUA Mead Learning Trust is seeking applications from highly motivated and forward-thinking Primary School Class Teachers. As a member of staff within our Trust, you will contribute to a collaborative working environment and play a key role in supporting the learning and development of all pupils.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, using appropriate resources and assessment to support progress and achievement. They create a positive and stimulating classroom environment, set high expectations, and adapt teaching to ensure all children, including those with SEND, are supported and included. The role involves assessing, monitoring, and reporting on pupil progress, while maintaining strong communication with parents, carers, and other professionals. Teachers are expected to manage behaviour effectively, promote pupils’ wellbeing and self-esteem, and uphold safeguarding and health and safety procedures at all times. They contribute to the wider life of the school, including curriculum development, enrichment activities, and school improvement priorities. The postholder works collaboratively with colleagues, manages support staff effectively, and maintains strong professional relationships within the school community. In addition, they uphold high standards of professional conduct, engage in ongoing professional development, and play an active role in supporting the school’s ethos, values, and vision.
