What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking for someone who:
- Is enthusiastic, experienced, approachable and friendly
- is up to date with current research around Quality First Teaching and Early Years practice (Nursery and Reception),
- Ensures all children feel safe, happy and able to learn to the best of their ability and reach their potential,
- Is knowledgeable and has the skills to meet the requirements of the EYFS Framework, including a good understanding of Early Reading,
- Has the ability to develop effective relationships with pupils, parents and external agencies in order to support pupils’ smooth transition into school
- Is confident in leading a team, developing the vision and having the drive to move it forward
- Able to create a stimulating and inviting learning environment adapted to suit the needs of the pupils,
- Supportive of the ethos of a Church and Trust school.

Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. These services include HR support; facilities and premises; procurement and school effectiveness.
