CLASS TEACHER - EYFS - Main Pay Scale (Start date - Summer Term 2026)

Fixed-term contract for 1 year

This role is for a class teacher within the Foundation Stage, working alongside experienced colleagues who are deeply committed to giving young children the very best start in life.

We are looking for a teacher who:

Has an understanding of, and commitment to, Catholic education (Candidates of all faiths and none are welcome to apply)

Demonstrates high-quality, child-centred learning and teaching

Has secure knowledge of the Early Years curriculum and early childhood development

Holds high expectations for children’s progress, behaviour and well-being

Is committed to delivering a broad, balanced and engaging curriculum

Can inspire, motivate and build positive relationships with pupils, parents and colleagues

Brings a caring, nurturing approach and a passion for achieving excellent outcomes for all children

Is a reflective and collaborative practitioner who thrives as part of a team

Uses creativity, play-based learning and purposeful provision to secure strong progress for all learners
