The role is within the Enhanced Learning Provision (ELP), supporting our inclusive approach to educating children with special educational needs who struggle to access the curriculum at an age‑appropriate level.

The successful applicant will:

  • be supportive of the Catholic ethos of our school
  • provide academic, behavioural and social support for individual pupils and small groups
  • have a strong understanding of the National Curriculum, with a proven record of achieving high pupil outcomes
  • demonstrate good knowledge of adaptive teaching strategies to ensure inclusive practice for pupils with Special Educational Needs
  • be enthusiastic, reflective and an effective communicator
  • have high standards of oral, written and numeracy skills
  • be committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all children
  • have some subject leadership experience, or be able to demonstrate readiness to lead a foundation curriculum subject

Experience of working in a Catholic school is desirable but not essential. We are a friendly, supportive staff with an excellent reputation.

Informal visits to the school are warmly welcomed. Please contact the school office to arrange an appointment. Experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply.

If you are ready to make a meaningful impact in a school where faith, community and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do, we would love to hear from you.

What the school offers its staff
