Rose Lane Primary School was established on the 1st September 2019 from the amalgamation of the Marks Gate Infant and Marks Gate Junior Schools to form a 3-form entry primary school which is on the border between Barking and Dagenham, Redbridge and Havering. The Ofsted inspections for both the former Infant and Junior schools were Good with outstanding features. The School opened an ARP for children with autism in September 2021 initially with 6 pupils, expanding to 12 pupils at Easter 2022. A link corridor between the lower and upper sites and additional buildings are scheduled to be completed at Easter 2022. This will also provide the school with an additional 4 classrooms ready for anticipated growth to 4FE.
