What skills and experience we're looking for

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs
  • Adapt the National Curriculum to ensure accessibility and engagement for all learners
  • Work collaboratively with teaching assistants, SENCo and external professionals
  • Develop and implement individualised learning strategies and support plans
  • Create a calm, structured and supportive classroom environment
  • Monitor, assess and report on pupil progress
  • Promote pupils’ communication, social interaction and independence skills

We are looking for an individual who can motivate and inspire at all levels. Whilst the post is advertised as a temporary contract there is potential for it to be made permanent in the future.

The successful candidate will have:

•The ability to further develop and enhance the high standards of teaching and learning

•High expectations for the achievement of every child and member of the staff team

•Strong behaviour management skills

•Excellent knowledge of assessment and pupil progress
