Class teacher KS1/KS2 job summary

We are looking to appoint a highly committed and passionate Teacher to work across Holland House Infant and Nursery School and Town Junior School.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator who is passionate about supporting children at every stage of their early learning journey.

This post is full time, although part time applications also welcome. Applications from ECTs welcome.

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning in accordance with the School Teachers’ Pay and Conditions Document and the Teachers' Standards. You will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our pupils, ensuring they receive engaging and well-structured lessons in a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment.

Key Responsibilities

Teaching

  • Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that align with the school’s curriculum.
  • Assess, monitor, and record student progress, using data to inform teaching strategies.
  • Adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of all pupils.
  • Set high expectations for both behaviour and achievement.
  • Support pupils in preparing for external assessments.
