Class Teacher - KS2 job summary
Towcester Primary School is a friendly, nurturing church school based in the heart of the market town of Towcester. We provide fantastic provision for children from the local community. We are looking for someone who:
- Is an experienced KS2 teacher with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and securing strong outcomes for pupils.
- Understands the importance of strong pedagogy, is able to deliver high-quality first teaching and is committed to continually developing their practice through professional learning and coaching.
- Is reflective and continually seeks to improve their teaching to ensure the best possible outcomes for all children.
- Is a team player who can build positive professional relationships and work collaboratively with colleagues, parents and the wider school community.
- Is enthusiastic, approachable and able to make learning engaging, memorable and inspiring for all pupils.
- Is confident in using a range of behaviour management strategies to create a positive and purposeful learning environment.
- Respects and promotes the Christian vision and values of our school.
It is desirable if you have:
- Experience of teaching mixed-age classes.
- Experience of teaching Upper Key Stage 2.
- Experience of subject leadership, particularly in Maths.
