St John’s CE Primary Academy is a one-form entry Church of England school at the heart of the Wednesbury community, known for its nurturing, family-centred ethos and strong pastoral care. The school provides a calm, purposeful environment where pupils are supported to achieve well and develop as confident learners.

We are seeking a committed and reflective Key Stage 2 teacher to join our team on a maternity cover basis for 2 terms. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all learners, ensuring strong progress and positive outcomes.

You will be part of a supportive and collaborative staff team, working together to plan, deliver and evaluate an ambitious curriculum. A strong commitment to inclusive practice is essential, with the ability to adapt teaching to meet a range of needs, including pupils with SEND and those requiring additional support.

The role requires high expectations for behaviour and learning, alongside a warm and nurturing approach that reflects the school’s Christian values of resilience, hope, community and excellence. You will build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues, contributing to the wider life of the school.
