Class Teacher - KS2 Maternity Cover job summary

The Board of Directors of the Romero Catholic Academy Trust, alongside The Governors of St Augustine of Canterbury RC Primary School are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated and inspiring class teacher who is committed to helping every child achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will be a highly effective practitioner with a passion for teaching and learning, high expectations for all pupils, and a commitment to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing classroom environment. This is on a fixed term basis to cover maternity leave within the school.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates excellent classroom practice and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that motivate and challenge pupils. They will be a team player who builds positive relationships with children, families and colleagues, and who is committed to working collaboratively to support the continued success of our school.

Most importantly, we are seeking a teacher who shares our values, puts children at the heart of everything they do, and is dedicated to making a lasting difference to the lives of our pupils.
