What skills and experience we're looking for

We are looking for an enthusiastic teacher with the energy and commitment to inspire and nurture our children in all aspects of school life. Our children are seeking a teacher who is caring, friendly and provides exciting opportunities for challenge within their learning.

The successful candidate will be well supported by a strong teaching and leadership team, in a thriving two-form entry school with engaged and motivated learners. There will be a supportive induction process as the teacher becomes part of our school team. We ensure every year group has PPA together including regular access to subject leaders. As a school we also give considerable value to staff well-being and workload - we listen to staff and adjust our practice accordingly as we aim to maintain a sustainable and happy school environment.

What the school offers its staff

We can offer you:

  • Children who are happy, confident in their learning and thrive within an inclusive environment
  • A hard-working caring team ethos with motivated staff and a supportive community
  • A Senior Leadership Team that values every member of staff and is committed to ongoing professional development
  • A Governing Body that actively supports the school in a positive and visible manner

The Headteacher, Mr Spooner would be delighted to discuss the position and answer any questions you may have, so please emailhead.3247@st-nicolas.oxon.sch.ukand he will arrange to call you. We also welcome visits to the school which can also be arranged by contacting Mr Spooner.

We regret only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.
